BAKED STUFFED BELL PEPPER





Dah lama juga tak upload resepi bonda..kali ni nak masak something yang tak pernah saya makan..kisahnya bermula ayahanda pulang dari pasar malam, sedang nak simpan sayur dan bahan mentah kering yang lain, tiba-tiba bonda nampak lada benggala ni..atau capsicum atau bell pepper..banyak pulak tu.haisshh nak masak apa ni?...

Bonda kata jom la try buat stuffed bell pepper..

Hah?apa tu...camna nak masak tu..ok mula lah nk korek buku resepi klasik bonda.tulisan aunty Betty Crocker..owh ada rupanya resepi ni..Tapi bonda mau ubah sikit..a bit of fusion touch

Okay...jom masuk dapur


THE BELL PEPPER..

1. Cut the top of the bell pepper but dont throw it away...put a side..

2. Soak in boiling water for maximum 3 min. Let it rest...



THE STUFF...CHICKEN OR BEEF...AS YOU WISH...

1. Red Onion (1/2 ) + garlic (2 cloves) + ginger (1 slice , optional) => Chopped and saute (tumis dgn sikit    
     minyak)

2. Put 1 small bowl of minced chicken or beef + 1 table spoon of kurma or kari powder + Salt and pepper => Mix together and stir until chicken half cooked

2. Add small amount of mixed vegetables  (corn, peas and carrot) + (1/2 red onion + 1 tomatoes + 1 chili ) and cook about 5 min

3. Placed into the bell pepper..and pour a small amount of tomato ketchup...




TIME TO BAKE....

Bake at 150C for 30 min..

Done...



Hmm.. it seems like mine was overcooked...(According to the recipe book it stated 45 min..huhu)..but Bonda advice..next time..just try 30 min...

Ok jom makan dengan nasi...hehe  (sat..sat hang ck omptih...sat..sat..hang ckp melayu..) hehhe
